Matthew Seifert, son of John and Dusty, during the school year was an intern at L.O.C.
Credit Union.  He joined their Relay for Life team, and asked the Michigan Fiero Club if
they would like to support him and make a donation.   The club generously donated $500.
In addition to donations, Matthew & his fellow interns brought in baked goods to sell to
raise money, as well as he contributed his own money.   Matthew raised the most money
out of his direct co-workers.  The L.O.C. team was the 3rd highest contributor with raising
$3,800.  Together, all the teams raised $ 53,932 for the American Cancer Society.   Their
were 22 teams that walked.  During a 24 hour time period each teammate took a turn
walking the High School track.  The only lights they had were the Luminares with names
on them all around the track.   Matthew walked the 11:00 pm shift in the drizzly rain.  Just
another show of his dedication.  Matthew and L.O.C expresses their appreciation to the
club for their donation and helping to make this event such a success.
