I have a 1987 Fiero GT. It’s my 4th Fiero but has grown to be my favorite. Not much done yet, but I have a LS4 I’m putting together for it. As of now it has an Ocelot exhaust, GLI Volkswagen seats and 18 imch enkei wheels.
As a kid, my father and I were driving along and he saw someone broken down on the side of the road. He stopped to help and I saw him under the rear of the car instead of the front. I asked why the engine was back there, and he said "Fieros were built right here in Pontiac and they put the engines in the back to make them sporty". Been hooked ever since.
The first car I ever did a motor swap on was my first Fiero. It was a basic supercharged 3800 car but was a blast to learn on and drive.
Most of my family has worked for GM at some point, and a few worked at the Fiero plant! I worked for GM for 10 years at the PMC next to the site of the old Fiero plant as well. I just joined the Michigan Fiero Club on August 14th 2024.
I love going off road and being in nature, cleaning trails and anything music related. My better half has a master's degree in music performance as well, so I'd say music and cars sum up the majority of my interest.
